Echo Bay Vineyard
Welcome
Echo Bay Vineyard in the Okanagan Falls district of the Okanagan Valley, is an expression of synergy and diversity of life on the Kenyan family vineyard. The Kenyon family purchased Echo Bay, an old apple orchard in 1967. In 1989 a large house was added to the property with an apartment up top for them and communal living quarters for the family below, Echo Bay very quickly became a gathering point for the whole family. It wasn't until 2013 when daughter Kathy and her husband Mark Rufiange set out to transform the land into the winery that it is today.
As a 5th generation family owned property it made sense for Mark and Kathy to call on daughter Kelsey as head wine-maker. Kelsey, who had just graduated from Lincoln's Viticulture and Oenology program and working in vineyards and wineries in New Zealand, Sanoma and Australia before returning to Echo Bay, was more than ready for the challenge.
