Nestled between the rock bluffs and just a short drive from the Okanagan lake, Black Widow Winery specialise in 100% Naramata bench grown, single vineyard wines. The 7.25 acre property sits on a steep slope with dramatic views across the region. A family affair, Owner/Winemakers, Dick & Shona Lancaster are aided by their 3 children to ensure the highest quality wines are produced with traditional techniques being utilised. Black Widow wines are produced with a low intervention philosophy allowing the strength of the grape used to shine through.

The Black Widow vineyard was established in 2000 and has grown to showcase 5 varieties well suited to the region. The vineyards proximity to the lake on the west and the rock bluffs to the east contribute to a long, frost-free growing season and may be a key factor in the wineries success in national and international competitions.

In 2006 the unique tasting room and production house was opened, offering visitors the chance to view the entire operation while you sample our wines.
